Joseph M. Labella Named Retirement Strategist for Voya Investment Management

NEW YORK, Aug. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Voya Investment Management, the asset management business of Voya Financial, Inc. (NYSE: VOYA), announced today that Joseph M. Labella, CAIA, CIMA®, has been named Retirement Strategist. Labella is based in New York and reports to Paula Smith, senior vice president and head of Retirement and College Savings Strategies.

This new position within Investment Management was created in response to the growing needs faced by financial advisors to help them better address their clients' retirement planning issues and those seeking a unique strategic and consultative resource.

Labella has over 20 years of financial services experience — having worked most recently as a consultant for Markola LLC, helping high-net-worth and institutional clients construct asset allocation strategies with an emphasis on alternative investments. Prior to that, he had roles at UBS Wealth Management and was director of Investments at 3 Dimensional Wealth Advisory.
