Pomona Capital Closes Eighth Secondary Fund At Its $1.75 Billion Hard Cap

NEW YORK, LONDON, HONG KONG and SYDNEY, April 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pomona Capital, a global private equity firm, announced the final close of its eighth secondaries fund, Pomona Capital VIII, L.P. (the "Fund") with commitments of $1.75 billion. The Fund had a target of $1.3 billion and was substantially oversubscribed, hitting its hard cap.

Pomona Capital VIII, like its predecessor funds, seeks to purchase interests in high-quality private equity funds, as well as portfolios of private equity-backed companies.
