A region of Financial Network Investment Corporation, a broker-dealer of ING, has opened up new offices in New York City. In December, the region, which operates as Karoon Capital Markets/Financial Network, opened at 11 Park Place in the Financial Services District. In March, the group will open up an office in Midtown Manhattan, across from Grand Central Station.

Financial Network provides a team environment to registered representatives or offices joining the broker-dealer through its regional structure. Karoon Capital Markets/Financial Network provides support to those brokers, advisors and branch offices looking to join an independently managed broker-dealer, but also want the full-service support they may currently enjoy from their existing broker-dealers. In addition to physical space, Karoon Capital Markets provides infrastructure, technology, support-staff and benefits to representatives and advisors. Branches enjoy branch development through active marketing, brand recognition and various types of assistance.

"New York is a terrific market for brokers and financial planners," said Kayvan Karoon. "We offer all the benefits of independence, including the ability to choose your own business model and a breadth of products to choose from, with the support that financial professionals need to focus on their clients, not their offices' operational, regulatory and compliance requirements," said Karoon, regional director for Financial Network. He added, "With the support of Financial Network and ING Advisors Network, representatives can tap into state-of-the art technology, research and due diligence, advisory platforms, ING Trust, ING DIRECT, and much, much more."
