Schoenholz Joins ING as Head of Infrastructure Services

ING U.S. Financial Services has named Dave Schoenholz as its new head of infrastructure services. In that role, he is responsible for the corporate technology infrastructure across ING Insurance Americas. Schoenholz spent 12 years with General Electric in a variety of IT management positions, most recently serving as global leader, infrastructure operations, for General Electric's infrastructure shared-service organization.

As vice president, infrastructure shared services, GE Money, Schoenholz spearheaded the transformation of the infrastructure for this leading consumer financial services company. In this role, he was the infrastructure leader who actively drove and supported the tremendous 2003 - 2006 expansion of GE Money Americas. Most recently, Schoenholz served as global leader, infrastructure operations for the General Electric Company, where he was responsible for defining and delivering the operating model for the worldwide IT infrastructure, while striving for operational excellence in a global shared- services model.
Prior to joining General Electric in 1994, Schoenholz worked for PepsiCo in a variety of roles, including the restaurant-redesign effort for the Taco Bell division. He also worked for Arthur Andersen as a senior consultant.
Schoenholz earned a bachelor's degree from the State University College of New York at Oneonta, and a master's degree in business administration from the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester. He and his family will be relocating to the Hartford area.
