Rhonda Mims, president of the ING Foundation, the philanthropic arm of ING U.S. Financial Services (NYSE: ING), will receive a special 2006 Spotlight Award from The Creative Coalition. Entertainment personalities Sean Penn, Marcia Gay Harden, Heather Graham, Harvey Keitel, and Branford Marsalis will also be honored.
The Creative Coalition awards, which recognize efforts in championing social welfare issues, are considered one of the entertainment industry's most prestigious awards. This year, a special Spotlight Award is being bestowed upon Mims for her efforts in leading ING's civic contributions to improving communities nationwide, through education, the arts and human services.
