Susan Anderson Hired as President and CEO of ING Trust USA

ING has named Susan Anderson president and CEO of ING Trust USA. In that capacity, Anderson will lead the continued growth and development of personal trust and directed institutional trusts nationally. ING Trust USA works in conjunction with the broker- dealers of ING and ING's retirement services business. Based in Minneapolis, Minn., the company also has a main office in Hartford, Conn., and sales offices around the US.

Anderson will report to ING Advisors Network President Valerie Brown. "Susan brings a very strong background in growing and managing trust businesses to her new role," said Brown. "We're excited to have her energy, experience and enthusiasm as we continue to grow this important resource for our independent financial representatives and their clients."

Anderson, age 40, brings fifteen years of multi-disciplined experience in financial and legal services, estate planning and consulting, trust administration, sales, and general business management to ING Trust. Previously, she served as vice president and manager of personal trust services for M&I Trust Company in the state of Minnesota. Prior to that position, she was a vice president and regional account manager for Comerica Bank and Trust. In addition to working in various capacities within Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank, Anderson has worked at Clifton, Gunderson CPA firm, and a regional law firm.

Anderson earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in 1988 and juris doctorate from Hamline University Law School in St. Paul, Minn. in 1994. Anderson holds the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) granted by the Institute of Certified Bankers Association.

Anderson is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minneapolis Estate Planning Council, Minnesota Corporate Fiduciaries Organization, Institute of Certified Bankers, American Bankers Association, and Financial Women's International.

Anderson and her family are residents of Chanhassen, Minn. She volunteers with the local chapter of PACER (Parent Advocacy Coalition for Educational Rights), which assists children with disabilities.
