Albert Johnson Joins Financial Network as Chief Compliance Officer

Albert Johnson has joined Financial Network Investment Corporation as its chief compliance officer (CCO). In that role, he is responsible for overseeing the compliance program of the broker-dealer and Financial Network's registered investment advisor (RIA). As the CCO, Johnson also serves as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and regulatory liaison with the NASD and SEC.

Johnson brings over 20 years experience to his new position. He previously served as vice president and chief supervisory officer for Nationwide Securities Inc. Prior to that, he served as group director of compliance at Huntington National Bank; senior compliance officer of Essex National Securities, Inc.; and in compliance and audit positions with Bank One Securities, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC); the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions; and Pepsi Cola-Indianapolis.

Johnson earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Indiana in 1981. He holds the NASD series 7, 24, 63 and 65 designations. He is a member of the NASD qualification committee for Series 6 and 26 examinations. He previously served as instructor at the regional compliance and national credit schools organized by the OCC.
