ING will be the presenting sponsor of Money: The Power to Empower Women Financial Empowerment Conference through the support of the ING Foundation. The conference is designed to enhance the attendees' understanding of money and how to use it wisely to secure their financial futures and empower others. The two-day event will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center on February 3-4, 2006.

ING will play a significant role in the two-day event in the discussions around financial literacy and the importance of women taking control of their finances and planning for retirement.

   * Valerie Brown, President of ING Advisors Network, will be a keynote
     speaker on Saturday at noon.  She'll speak on "The Value of Advice:
     The When, Where, and How's to Seeking Financial Counsel."
   * Kris Dwyer, an advisor for Financial Network Investment Corporation,
     will host a workshop entitled "Got Financial Savvy? The Care and
     Keeping of Money Through Life's Transitions."
   * Gina Chaney, financial consultant for G. Chaney & Associates, INC.,
     will host a workshop entitled, "Show Me The Money!!: The Reality Of It
     all."

The conference Money: The Power to Empower Women Financial Empowerment Conference is a project of the YWCA. It's a financial industry conference for all socioeconomic backgrounds and levels of financial knowledge. The proceeds from the conference will benefit the YWCA's Women in Transition Program, an 18-month transitional housing program for homeless women and children and those displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
