ING, one of the U.S.'s leading providers of retirement plans, has launched "401(k) Learn and Earn," an interactive, web-based training program for brokers and advisers interested in selling 401(k)s or increasing their 401(k) business.

Through the program, advisers can learn about retirement plan types and terminology; identifying opportunities; reviewing resources, products and services; alternative delivery and service models; and gain an understanding of ING's products and services. Each module lasts approximately 15 minutes. Advisers completing all four modules receive a certificate of completion.

"If advisers aren't aggressively selling 401(k)s, they're leaving money on the table," said Lou Bachetti, ING's head of sales for the corporate, health and government markets. "This program aims to arm advisers with the knowledge they need to compete effectively and help grow their 401(k) business."

The interactive presentations allow participants to set their own pace for completion. Advisers interested in participating should visit www.brainshark.com/inges/401kModule1 . For additional questions, call ING at 888.238.6243.
