Effective September 2, 2003 -- ING is offering investment options from the American Funds Insurance Series within ING's variable annuity product line. The three new ING American Funds further round out the ING variable annuities product line offerings to better serve advisors and their clients in creating a diversified portfolio intended to meet most investment objectives.

ING GoldenSelect and ING SmartDesign, ING's variable annuity product lines, both offer the following new options:

   - ING American Funds Growth Portfolio
   - ING American Funds Growth-Income Portfolio
   - ING American Funds International Portfolio
